Brandon Smith has been a sports and adrenaline junkie from an early age. Memories of, and injuries from, jumping stacked bales of hay on early mountain bike versions are still vibrant. While attending BYU, Brandon was a Conference and USA Zone diving champion. Since then, he has coached multiple sports at junior, high school and college levels for more than 35 years, covering: diving, swimming, wrestling, track and field, baseball, basketball, football, climbing, powerlifting, fitness, and of course, mountain biking—the sport he is currently most passionate about. He logged 5,300 miles, and 365,000 vertical feet of dirt in 2020 and podiumed in age-group races.
